Founded in 2015, Australian Global Life Solutions is a specialist life insurance business and we provide informed, insightful and tailored life insurance advice that’s designed to protect you and your lifestyle.
We work on the principle that we need to take the time to understand what really matters to our clients in order to provide advice that’s relevant and tailored to each individual.
Before we start thinking about what risk management strategies could be right for you, we’ll talk to you about:
- Your current situation – things like your income, debt, expenses, obligations and family.
- Your need and objectives- we’ll talk about what’s important to you, and we’ll ask a lot of “what if?” questions.
We focus on life insurance products so we don’t get distracted with other, more general forms of insurance. Even if you already have cover it costs nothing to get an alternative quote – one that may cost you less and be better suited to your situation.

Carolyn Hodge - Adviser
Carolyn is passionate and committed to providing her clients with the highest level of service. She works very closely with them so she can fully understand their unique individual goals, objectives and needs before recommending a suitable financial protection solution. As their life situation evolves and changes, so too does Carolyn’s advice.
Carolyn is an authorised representative (AR no 444075) of Auss Life Pty Ltd (AFLS no 526288).
Carolyn is a highly experienced, trusted Financial Adviser specialising in life risk insurance, with more than 26 years’ experience in the Financial Services, Accounting and Auditing industry. She is committed to ethical and professional standards. She is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Griffith University and has since developed a strong reputation for providing high-quality financial advice to her clients.
Carolyn was TAL Adviser of the Year (Qld) in 2019. TAL being one of the largest life insurance companies in Australia.
She has been admitted as an Adviser with the Association of Independently Owned Financial Professional (AIOFP) and Association of Financial Advisers (AFA). Carolyn was nominated for The Australian Female Excellence in Advice Award in 2017 and twice again in 2018.
To help build valuable relationships Carolyn is a Member of Business Network International – Gold Coast (BNI). To show her commitment she has also held various roles of responsibility including Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Ambassador. She won the award for BNI Infinity Most Notable Networker in 2014 and 2022 and MVP in 2014. Nominated again for MVP in 2017 and 2018, again for Most Notable Networker in 2019 and 2021.
She’s passionate about life and there’s not much about risk that she doesn’t know, so you’re in very safe hands when Carolyn’s on the job for you. She loves the lifestyle that the Gold Coast has to offer and hits the beach whenever she can. If you bump into her down there you’ll probably find her swimming or walking, as she’s not especially good at sitting still.

Kelvin is a seasoned business development professional with a passion for networking and building strong relationships with referral partners. With 35 years of experience in the industry, Kelvin has a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.
At Kelvin’s core is a commitment to providing exceptional service.
He understands that the claims process can be daunting, and that’s why he works tirelessly to help AGLS clients in time of suffering, with assisting on claims support.
Kelvin is also an active member of the community, serving on the board of Broadbeach Bowls Club. He believes in giving back to the community and is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others. As a community contributor, Kelvin has helped to organise and participate in various charity events, and he is always looking for ways to give back.
Kelvin is a lover of sports, particularly rugby union. As a former school captain and representative football player, he has a deep appreciation for the sport and continues to follow it closely. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends, exploring new places, and experiencing new cultures.
Paraplanner/ Client Service Officer/ Office Manager
Meet Catherine, our highly skilled and experienced paraplanner / client service officer and administration manager at AGLS Insurance. With a Diploma of Financial Planning, Certificate IV in Business, Certificate in Financial Markets and Certificate in Office Skills. Catherine has dedicated over 25 years of her career to the finance industry. Her extensive knowledge, expertise in the field, attention to detail and commitment to excellence makes her a valuable member of our team.
In addition, Catherine is also a Justice of the Peace, which further demonstrates her dedication to serving the community.
Catherine is committed to helping AGLS clients and will provide them with the administration support through their insurance journey.
Catherine enjoys spending time with her friends and family, getting outdoors and travelling. Having three children of her own, she is committed to helping you protect what matters most to you, you and your loved ones.
